☆ Before I start my SWR, you should be familiar with some of "my" terms and definitions. They are general terms and I will use it to clarify my description of the celestial spheres. ▼
▶SWR- Star Watch Report.
▶Focal star- Any certain appointed star to guide constellations' positions.
▶Magnitude- Brightness of a star. Usually ranged from 1 to 6, 1 being the brightest.
▶Alpha Stars- The first officially designated star in a one constelltion. Usually the brightest.
☆ Good morning... (*Yawns) I stayed awake till 1am so that I could write my SWR. First night and it's already giving me a hard time. Alot of cirrus clouds covered the sky today. I could not see any stars lower than magnitude of 4. The first star that came to my sight was Arcturus from the constellation of Bootes. (Herdsman) Therefore Arcturus (magnitude -0.04) became my focalstar for today. It is the fourth brightest star from the Earth. Clouds covered weak part of the constellation but Arcturus itself was amazing enough. It was just amazing... My waiting was surely worthy enough.
☆ It rained again today. I just love rainy weather, but for star gazing, it's one of the worst enemy ever.. It's now around 7:30pm and my eyes could only collect few stars. The cloud condition is so bad that at first I couldn't identify the stars. Magnitude of 1 or above could be seen in the sky. I was really hoping to see Polaris today. I've tried to look for it this morning but Polaris was way down the Southern Hemisphere. If it was an open field, I could have found it. But unluckily my view has been covered by house roofs around my place. I'm so fatigued and out of stamina. Two cups of coffee helped me last night to stay awake, but the after-effect is unbearable. I don't think I could possibly wait for the sky to be cleared today. My head keeps bumping on my keyboard and I'm not sure if I'm typing right. I'll have to check and edit tomorrow. My grammar at the lowest level right now. I got to sleep. That's all for SWR today. Good night ^^
